CARLISLE East fire station are opening their doors this weekend as part of an annual open day.
Entry will be free to the event, which will take place between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, October 12.
A spokesman from Carlisle East fire station said: "We have loads planning for our open day this year.
"There will be demonstrations from our firefighters, tours of the station and fire engines and visits from mascots Welephant and Fireman Sam.
"Various stalls, including an ice cream van, will also be at the station, plus arts and crafts.
"There will also be charity abseiling from the drill tower.
"It's sure to be a fantastic day for both adults and children, and we hope to see as many people as possible come along."
