St Bees beach is now a lot cleaner - thanks to the efforts of volunteers.
Organised by Melanie Greggain, 25 volunteers took part in the village's annual beach clean at the weekend.
Several bin bags full of rubbish were removed to make the area look bright and clean.
Volunteers from young to old played their part in helping the environment and the village of St Bees and all its visitors.
