THE lead member of Aspatria’s Harlequin Choir is organising a coffee afternoon for McMillan cancer, and everyone is invited along for cuppa’s and cakes.
Claire Louise Gregson will host the afternoon on September 29, between 2pm and 4pm at The All Hallows Centre, Fletchertown.
On the day there will be tea, cake and a raffle to win prizes with all money being donated to McMillan Cancer Support.
She said: “I am overwhelmed by the generosity from businesses who have kindly donated some amazing prizes for our McMillan event.
“Tickets are £1 or £5 for a book and on sale now from me leading up to the event and are also available on the day of the event when the raffle will be drawn.
“Cancer affects us all so lets make a difference and ensure no one faces cancer alone.”
Admission to the coffee afternoon is £3. You can pay on the door or tickets can be bought in advance from Claire by calling 07768 839808.
