Police have confirmed that a major Cumbrian road was closed following concerns for a teenager's welfare.
The A69 through Warwick Bridge was closed at just after 6pm after a member of the public raised concerns for a boy's safety.
Emergency services including Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service attended but were stood down.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "At about 6pm yesterday police were called to Warwick Bridge, after receiving a report from a member of the public, who was concerned for the safety and welfare of a 16-year-old boy.
"The road was closed for a short time while police officers resolved the incident.
"No one was hurt."
