Children at a Workington school will be swapping books for walking shoes to raise cash.
Westfield school is holding a sponsored walk on Friday to raise money for school activities.
Pupils from reception up to Year Six will walk from their Nillson Drive base up to the town's fire station and back.
Nursery children will do their own version of the walk in the school's yard.
Cash collected will be then used to fund activities and trips for the children.
