Maryport Rotary Club have arranged a film night to raise funds for victims of hurricane Dorian.

The film, Definitive Therapy, is based on a short story by F Paul Wilson and has been adapted, directed and produced by Workington Playgoers member, Ben Brinicombe.

All monies raised will go to the victims of the crisis caused by the hurricane in the Bahamas.

The film begins when Dr Hal Lewis starts a job at the Park Hill Hospital for the criminally insane.

He gets the opportunity of a lifetime, to be able to work with one of Britain's most notorious mobsters - Mr Punch.

During their therapy sessions, Hal will aim to finally and definitively treat the psychopathic criminal.

However, the treatment does not turn out as Hal expects and Mr Punch's influence begins to reach beyond the walls of his cell.

The film is category 15+ and will be shown on September 28 at Theatre Royal, Workington at 7pm.

Tickets are £7.50. There will be a licenced bar and coffee available.
