Carlisle East were called out twice last night
FIRE crews from Carlisle were called out twice last night to two separate incidents.
Carlisle East fire crew were called at about 6.55pm to reports of a small garage fire in Central Avenue, Carlisle.
A spokesman from Carlisle East fire station said: "The fire was extinguished with a hose reel jet on arrival."
Crews were then called again at about 8.10pm to a small cooking fire on Wigton Road, Carlisle.
The fire was out on arrival but there was still some smoke in the building which the crew dealt with.
