Details have been released by police of criminal damage which took place in Wigton, to encourage witnesses to come forward.
Cumbria police are investigating criminal damage to the front door window at the Hills garage on Low Moor Road in Wigton.
The window was smashed at some point between 10pm and 6am on the night of August 31.
A spokesman for the force said: "The offender is not believed to have gained entry to the premises.
"Anyone with information should call PC 1581 on 101, 101@cumbria.police.uk or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log number 23 of August 31."
