A JUDGE has banned a Carlisle man guilty of an assault from returning to his home until March next year.
At the city's Rickergate court, District Judge Gerald Chalk imposed the ban on Georges Youssef Feghali, 56, as part of a restraining order after the defendant admitted assaulting a woman on September 5.
He was also made subject to a community order and fined £120, with £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
The defendant's address is court was given as Eden Park Crescent, Carlisle.
The restraining order expires on March 8 next year.
Court papers do not specify where the defendant is living now.
