TWO Aspatria thieves have been given an overnight curfew for six weeks and have been ordered to each pay £170 after they admitted stealing diesel.
Connor Abram stole the diesel from Richard Sowerby on December 16, with the value of the fuel unknown.
He appeared before Workington's magistrates' court on Friday (Sep 6).
Abram, of Lawson Street, was given a curfew from 7pm until 7am daily for six weeks.
He was also ordered to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
On the same day, Daniel Joseph James, of North View in Aspatria, also admitted stealing diesel from Richard Sowerby on December 16.
He was given a community order with the same requirements as Abram and was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
