AN EVANGELICAL church are looking forward to welcoming the founder of the missionary work the church support to speak about it.
Lowmoor Church, on Lowmoor Road, Wigton will hear from Rev John Kamoyo later this month when he visits to talk about his work with Hope for Tanzania.
The charity was set up in 2008 and its vision is to help people and communities in Tanzania so they can maximise their potential and help others.
The talk will take place on September 15 at 10.30am followed by a lunch where people can hear more from Rev John.
A missionary from the London City Mission will visit the church to talk about their work in the captial city at one of their monthly meetings.
He will address members at the monthly ‘Meet To Eat’ community lunch which is due to be held on September 24 between 12pm and 1.30pm.
Members of the church are also excited for a guest service on September 29 at 6.30pm when they will be visited by local gospel singers, Peter and Helen Stobart from Hesket Newmarket followed by well-known Yorkshire man Evangelist, Roger Carswell.
