RESULTS have been declared in the election for the Penrith South ward at Eden District Council.
Helen Fearon will take the seat after winning the vote with 222.
The by-election was delayed following the age of Independent councillor Paul Connor in July.
The turnout was 23.6 percent.
The results have been revealed as follows:
Helen Fearon (Conservative) 222 votes.
Lee Quinn (Independent) 189 votes.
Dave Knaggs (Labour) 46 votes.
Kerryanne Wilde (Putting Cumbria First) 23 votes.
