A CARLISLE woman has been jailed after she stole a pressure washer from a city store.
Deborah Ellen Whelpdale took the washer from Border Offset Printers in Rigg Street, on August 28.
She pleaded guilty to the charge before Carlisle's Rickergate magistrates' court three days later.
Whelpdale, of Chatsworth Square, was jailed for 60 days.
The court heard how she had a history of non-compliance, had a previous record and that the offence took place while she was subject to post sentence supervision.
The 36-year-old was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
