A home-builder has appointed a business analyst.

Genesis Homes in Penrith has given Laura Pepper the senior role of business analyst and personal assistant to managing director Nicky Gordon.

With several years experience as a financial analyst and business partner in retailers such as Victoria Beckham Ltd and The Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Laura has important knowledge of relevant accountancy and reporting practices.

Laura said: “‘I feel both privileged and excited with the prospect of furthering my career here at Genesis Homes.

"The brand sells itself, and as soon as I started looking into the five-year growth plans, I knew it was an opportunity I wanted to be a part of. The whole team is dynamic, innovative and committed and I’m thrilled to join the senior management team supporting Nicky."

Nicky said: “We’re delighted to welcome Laura to the business and look forward to the contribution she will make to the continued development of our company.

"We’ve been delighted with the success of Genesis Homes and we have exciting plans in both the short and long term, and the role of business analyst is fundamental in achieving these ambitions.

"Laura has an impressive CV and her personality and ambition certainly shone through at interview.”
