Cumbria's only enterprise zone has launched a new website.

Kingmoor Park's new website is in its initial phase of development.

It is designed to enable visitors to make a tailor-made search for appropriate property, its location on the site, what Enterprise Zone benefits it offers and give them the opportunity to fill out the necessary paperwork before sending it straight to Carlisle City Council for assessment.

The site's ModVillage, which utilises refurbished shipping containers as office space, has its own separate page providing the latest updates on progress.

Tenants can also make payments online and visitors can see an instant journey time to Kingmoor Park by entering the postcode of their location.

Kingmoor Park says there are more additions in the pipeline including drone footage and a visual interpretation of the site’s new Masterplan which charts the next 20 years of development for the site. The website was designed and developed by Prospus Marketing.

Neil McIntyre, managing director for Kingmoor Park, said: “Our objective was to let the user be in charge of their enquiry and find answers to their questions to see whether Kingmoor Park is suitable for their needs before then coming to us to provide support for them through the next stage of the process.

"We will be using the website together with digital advertising as our major marketing tool to reach potential tenants beyond the boundaries of Cumbria so that anyone, anywhere can find out about the site and be encouraged to contact us.

"At every step of the way our staff will be there to provide support and advice”.
