Mental health will be explored through music, art, poetry, and spoken word in an exhibition in Carlisle over the weekend.
Mind Trees of the Urban Forest will use nature as a platform to understand mental health.
It includes testimonials from mental health service users, professionals from Carlisle and Eden Mind, and art therapists.
This collaborative exhibition, which is part of the Carlisle Collective Fringe, has been developed by Caldew Press.
“The aim of the project is to find out how people connect with each other and exploration into good mental health by using trees and the forest as an analogy,” explains Susan Cartwright-Smith, the project curator.
It is supported by Cumbria County Council and The Patchwork Opera.
Mind Trees of the Urban Forest will open at the Old fire Station on Friday evening.
It will be open between 10pm and 4pm until Sunday.
