Cumbria police
A road has been closed between Wigton and Abbeytown due to a two vehicle serious crash.
The B5302 is closed both ways, with police reporting heavy traffic due a crash between the Wheyrigg Hall Hotel (Wheyrigg) and Abbeytown.
Road is expected to be shut for some time.
The crash was first reported to emergency services shortly after 1pm.
Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes.
