A number of roads are inaccessible across Cumbria - as after heavy rain battered the county overnight.
A yellow Met Office weather warning for thunderstorms is in place until 6am tomorrow.
Roads which are currently affected by floodwater:
- B6264 Brampton Old Road in Carlisle badly affected by flooding near Hadrians Caravan Park. Traffic is very slow
- Denton Street in Carlisle is blocked due to flooding, with a vehicle stuck between the Nelson Bridge and Trafalgar Street junctions
- B5299 Dalston Road between Peter Lane and Lingy Close is experiencing flooding and is barely passable
- St. Ninians Road in Carlisle is blocked due to flooding under the railway bridge
- Kingmoor Road in Carlisle is blocked due to flooding under the old railway bridge. A vehicle is stuck in floodwater
- Newbiggin Road in Carlisle is flooded between Durdar crossroads and Brisco crossroads. The road is barely passable
- The A7 from Harker to Blackford is flooded
- Kingstown Road is flooded near to Kengas World of Stoves
- Silverdale Road and the bottom of Pennine Way in Harraby are flooded
