TRAIN services on the Carlisle to Settle line have resumed after a landslip was cleared.
Operator Northern confirmed that direct rail services between Carlisle and Leeds returned to normal on Thursday afternoon.
A landslip caused by heavy rain and flooding temporarily closed part of the line from Dent to Ribblehead on Tuesday morning.
A rail replacement bus was used to take passengers from Kirkby Stephen to Ribblehead during the closure.
Staff from Network Rail were swiftly sent to clear the debris and lower the water levels along the line.
