A landslip has closed part of the Carlisle to settle line.
It happened near Dent Head Viaduct earlier this morning.
A rail replacement bus is now being used for part of the journey.
Passengers can get from Carlisle to Kirkby Stephen, but must then take a coach to Ribblehead.
Once there, they can rejoin the train to Skipton.
It comes after a night of heavy rain for much of the region.
Flooding closed the A66 between Brough and Bowes, after several vehicles became stuck.
It happened just before midnight and was closed for most of the night.
The road has reopened this morning, but with a lane restriction on the westbound carriageway for repair work.
