HOW THEY MET: Mutual friends introduced the couple.

PROPOSAL: On a beach in Marbella while on holiday in 2017.

STAG & HEN CELEBRATIONS: For the hens, a day at the Grand National, a weekend in Manchester and a train trip to Carlisle. For the stags, a trip to Skipton on the train and three nights in Ibiza.

VENUE: Kirkby Stephen parish church.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Stella York lace wedding gown from The Wedding Dress Company, Corbridge.

HAIR & BEAUTY: Hair was by Robson & Banks, Barnard Castle and make-up by Emma Lusby and Leonie Ruddick.

GROOMSMEN: James Hardy was best man and ushers were Stuart Lord, bride’s brother; Sam Graves, groom’s brother; Kevin Chappelow, friend; and Noah Graves, groom’s son.

BRIDESMAIDS: Emma Ellwood, Gemma Allinson, Shell Wearmouth and Amy Close, all friends of the bride; Johanna Graves, groom’s sister, and Ellena Peacock, groom’s niece. Dresses were from Carol’s Bridal, Carlisle.

FLOWERS: Church flowers were arranged by friends of the bride’s mother and bouquets were from Vintage Essence, Barnard Castle.

TRANSPORT: The bride and groom travelled to the reception in the groom’s Scania wagon.

RECEPTION: A reception for 120 days guests and an additional 100 guests for the evening was held at Askham Hall, Penrith.

FAVOURS: Homemade alcohol shots, made by the groom’s mother, with chocolates and cake pops supplied by Mama Cakes.

Cake: A three-tier cake from Mama Cakes.

FIRST DANCE: Everything I Do by Bryan Adams.

ENTERTAINMENT: All Star Disco and a selfie mirror from Cumbria Photobooth at the evening reception.

HONEYMOON: Dubai.

FAMILY DETAILS: The bride and groom are both from farming families. The bride is the daughter of David and Margaret Lord, Little Garth, Winton, Kirkby Stephen and the groom is the son of Roger and Lesley Graves, Demain, High Hesket, Carlisle.
