Brampton Rotary Club has handed over the reins from one president to another.
The outgoing president, Wendy Aldred passed on the baton to Peter Sedgwick at the first of two July club meetings.
Wendy said: “We have had a successful year and many of the projects, such as our support of the Carlisle Dementia Action Alliance, will continue to develop.
“We would always like to do more but are often limited by resources.”
During the meeting, the incoming president set out his plans for the club over the next year, including the
projects the club will engage in.
Peter, who will be president for 2019/2020, said: “Without the support of our local communities we wouldn’t be able to deliver many of the projects we get involved with.”
