Cumbrian wildlife photographer David Phillips will

display his Wildlands exhibition at the site near Hallbankgate.

David Phillips said: “When it comes to birds I have never had a great interest in pursuing the rarities but prefer to concentrate on pictures that illustrate infrequently realised aspects of what may too often be seen as the mundane - the sparrowhawk’s hunters’ eye or the striking iridescence of the lapwing’s feathers in the day’s early light.”

Wildlands features photographs of birds from northern England and Scotland.

Mr Phillips has previously been a finalist for Wildlife Photographer of the Year and his photography has been featured in books, advertisements, and magazines.

The exhibition will be on display from July 26 until September 27.
