A Whitehaven man was fined after he admitted possessing class A drugs.
Mark Clark, 48, of George Street, appeared at the magistrates' court in Workington on Friday.
The court heard that Clark had a quantity of diamorphine on June 22 in Whitehaven.
He was fined £120 and was ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
