POLICE have launched an investigation after a farm was targeted twice by thieves in a week.
The thefts occurred at a farm between Dent and Cowgill in east Cumbria.
During the first theft on May 29, a number of tools were taken from an unsecured building, then, on June 6, a number of other items were also taken.
No further details have been released about the exact items that were stolen.
A police spokesman said: "It is reported that a white van with roof racks was seen in the area at the time and officers are keen to speak with the occupants as part of their investigation."
Anyone with information or who witnessed persons in the area are asked to call 101, quoting log number 223 of June 6.
