Two men have been arrested by police probing thefts and burglaries with an estimated value of more than £1m.
Brian Thexton, 43, and Ronald Thexton, 35, both of Bishop Auckland, were arrested yesterday (July 11) in the Gisburn area of Lancashire.
Following an investigation by Lancashire Police and support from Cumbria Police and Durham Police, the men have been arrested on suspicion of theft offences and are currently in police custody.
Police believe the alleged offences took place across the north of Lancashire, Cumbria and Durham.
