A new recycling site has been set up to help cope with growing demand while kerbside collections are suspended.
Allerdale council has put glass, can and plastic banks on the car park of Solway House in Workington.
The site can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week and people are advised to use the entrance off Mossbay Road.

Existing recycling points have seen increased use since Friday, when the council announced that kerbside collections of glass, cans and plastics, as well as garden waste, were being suspended for up to two months.
It came amid problems with a new waste and recycling collection contract which say more than 66,000 bins not emptied on time over seven weeks.
A spokesman said: "Council officers are monitoring all of its recycling bring sites on a daily basis to assess usage. A full list of the locations, opening times and where garden waste can be disposed of, is available on the council’s website."
