A Penrith man is celebrating after qualifying as a chartered surveyor.
Tomos Davies, of of Edenhall-based rural surveyors Robson & Liddle, is now a chartered surveyor and registered valuer after passing his professional RICS exams.
Tomos, 25, of Clifton, near Penrith, needed two years’ practical experience before he could enter the rigorous assessment process.
He joined Robson & Liddle in 2015 for a one-year placement as part of his university studies.
He was given a permanent position as a graduate surveyor in 2017 after completing his BSc degree in rural enterprise and land management at Harper Adams University in Shropshire.
Tomos said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have passed the assessment and move forwards in my career at Robson & Liddle.”
His next challenge is to become a full member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
He is currently a probationary member and will sit his exams in the winter.
