A police investigation has been launched after a man was punched in the face in Carlisle city centre.
Cumbria Police is investigating the alleged assault which took place at 2.05pm on Thursday (July 4) on St. Nicholas Street, which is just off Botchergate.
Officers say a man was punched in the face, which then led to a struggle in the street.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, about 5ft 9ins tall, with a skinny build, scruffy hair, dirty blond in colour. He was wearing a dark tracksuit and dark trainers.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101, quoting log number 180 of July 4.
