A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage at Carlisle bus station.
This afternoon a National Express Coach had its window smashed at the bus station on Lonsdale Street in the city centre.
The police were called about 1.30 pm to reports of criminal damage.
An 18-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
A spokesman from Cumbria police said: "He remains in police custody and anyone with information or who witnessed this incident are requested to call 101."
A spokesman for National Express said: "We can confirm the police were called to Carlisle bus station this afternoon, Monday, June 24, as a result of an incident involving one of our vehicles.
"There were no reported injuries to customers and they were transferred to a replacement vehicle to continue their journey.
"We will assist the police with any further investigations into this incident."
