TWO police officers were assaulted by a man in Carlisle.
Steven Jamie Farren, 27, gave an indicated plea of guilty to both offences at the city's magistrates' court.
It happened on May 25 but no details were given on the nature of the assaults.
Farren, of Oswald Street, off London Road in Carlisle, was given a two year community order which includes taking part in an accredited rehabilitation programme and completing 200 hours' unpaid work within 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay £85 to fund victim surcharges, plus £85 court cases.
Farren admitted using threatening words or behaviour on the same date, and was given no separate penalty.
