PETS of Cumbria have been nominated by their owners as Britain's naughtiest dog.

Yesterday we announced that a hit TV show, Dogs Behaving Badly is returning to UK screens and our readers have been in touch with their canine contenders.

The Channel 5 show follows pet behaviourist Graeme Hall has he tries to help Britain's dogs in need of discipline.

Lindsey Gillam got in touch, as she thinks her golden retriever Dave could benefit from Mr Hall's help and is looking to enter him in the show. Dave has a habit of chewing things, recently tearing his bed up and spreading wool across Lindsey's living room. The golden retriever then made short work of the replacement.

Commenting on our Facebook page, Amy Louise Smith said: "This would be great for our Scamps, he's a naughty puppy."

Jackson Irving sent in a picture of his dog Izzy and Natasha Askew said: "Found Buddy's calling in life."

And James Ferguson of Workington said: "Finally Zeus can be good at something."
