Police are looking to speak to three teenagers after the theft of a CCTV camera from a Carlisle home.

Cumbria Police have launched an investigation after a security camera was taken from the wall of a house on Winscale Way, on Tuesday morning.

A spokesman for the constabulary described the youths as "three males dressed in black coats and black jogging bottoms."

The first youth was described by the spokesman as "a white male, aged around 14 or 15 years around 5'8" tall."

He is described as being of "medium build with short brown hair, wearing a black jacket which has a small logo on the left breast.

"The sides and underarms were charcoal grey. He was also wearing black jogging bottoms with a grey logo on the left thigh; and black trainers with white trim on the sides."

The second youth was described by the spokesman as a "white male aged around 15 years of slim build around 5'8" tall.

"He was wearing a black waterproof jacket with a white zip on the front; black jogging bottoms with black gloves. He was carrying a blue rucksack and also an unidentified black object in his left hand."

The third youth was also described as a white male, "around 16-18 years of age, of slim build, around 5'8" tall.

"He was wearing a black waterproof jacket with the hood up, a black scarf around the lower half of his face and a black baseball cap which has a red and green stripe on the peak.

"He had black jogging bottoms on with white trim on the left knee, with blue trainers."
