Excited youngsters were covered in a rainbow of colour as they raised money for charity.
Bookwell School in Egremont hosted a mini colour run in aid of Hospice at Home West Cumbria last week.
Children ran laps of the school field while volunteers pelted them with multi-coloured powder paint.
Headteacher Russell Hardy said: "It was a wonderful afternoon with the whole school community coming together to help raise money for such a worthwhile charity, which has helped many of our families.
"The children really enjoyed getting totally covered in paint and running around the school field. I want to also say a massive thank you to Hartley's Ice-Creams for sponsoring the event. Without their support we couldn’t have run the event.”
