A MAN accused of dangerous driving on the A66 between Penrith and Appleby is set to stand trial next month.
Robert Blore, 43, pleaded not guilty to one charge when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court during a brief hearing in front of Judge James Adkin.
This charge alleges that Blore drove a Vauxhall Astra dangerously on the A66 Temple Sowerby bypass, on May 26 last year.
A trial - estimated to last around a day - is set to take place in front of a jury at the crown court.
This is due to be held in the week of July 29.
In the meantime Blore, of Dale End Road, Carlisle, was granted bail by Judge Adkin.
