TYRES, a carpet and a vacuum cleaner are among the rubbish abandoned in Allerdale this week.
Allerdale council workers have been busy clearing the discarded rubbish from the Moorclose cycle track and Moorclose Road, Workington, a back lane in Netherton and the layby on the Allonby to Maryport road.
The authority is urging people to dispose of their rubbish properly.
A council spokesman said: “Residents can report flytipping via the online form or our “myAllerdale” app. If people have bulky items to get rid of, they can contact us for a bulky item collection or take it down to one of the Household Waste Recycling Centres around the borough.
