A Cleator woman has been slapped with a curfew after she assaulted an NHS worker.
Michelle Johnston, 40, of Main Street, Cleator, pleaded guilty at the West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington on Friday to assaulting Suzanne McGill by beating while she was working in Whitehaven on November 21.
Johnston was handed an eight-week curfew requiring her to be at home between 8pm and 6am and was ordered to pay £100 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
