A POPULAR children’s author is embarking on a tour of Cumbrian schools next week.
Fay Evans, author of Bob’s Beard and Fred the Fire Sneezing Dragon, will - from Monday - be visiting primary schools across the county as part of a tour organised by Cumbria County Council.
Beginning with Netherton Infant School in Maryport on Monday, Fay will be visiting Montreal Primary in Cleator Moor and Ellenborough & Ewanrigg Infant School in Maryport the following day.
Fay will visit Culgaith School in Penrith and All Saints School in Cockermouth on Wednesday before heading to the south of the county.
Ahead of the visits, Fay said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to visit so many schools across Cumbria to meet the children and share my story.”
