Police are appealing
BURGLARS forced their way into a property in Workington.
It happened between midday on Sunday and this morning on Newlands Lane.
A police spokesman said: "Entry was gained and extensive damage caused from the use of a tool, such as a grinder, to cut an external lock."
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything which may assist with enquiries.
