A Carlisle motorist who drove while banned has been jailed for ten weeks.
Mark Walker, 44, of Firlands, Stanwix, Carlisle, admitted committing the offence on the A75 road in April near Carrutherstown, and also pleaded guilty to using a car without insurance.
He was banned by the Sheriff at Dumfries from driving for five years.
