TWO men were arrested following a disturbance in a Carlisle street.
Several police vehicles responded to reports of affray involving six men in South Henry Street at about about 8.40pm last night.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and of a public order offence.
Another man, also 21, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
Both remain in police custody today.
The incident was quickly dealt with and nobody was believed to be seriously injured.
