Asby motorsport star Jonny Edgar is revving up for the next round of the Italian F4 series this weekend.
The racing moves and north to Misano with Red Bull Junior Edgar determined to get the result his pace deserves.
Edgar is currently 13th – with six points after three of 21 races – and the 15-year-old says he likes this track.
“I’ve been testing there a few times and I like the track,” he said. “It’s got some really good corners, the first section and some of the faster ones I really enjoy.
The Jenzer Motorsport driver is please with progress in his first formula season. “I think we go forward with the car every time we test, we did struggle a bit at Vallelunga but in general it is getting better and better. I feel we are well prepared for this weekend, of course it can be different when everyone gets out on track so you never really know till then but I think it will be good.
“From the weather forecast it could do anything but I’m not worried about that. We tested in the wet in Misano and that was OK so it doesn’t matter too much.”
Drivers have practice sessions today before qualifying tomorrow and races Saturday and Sunday.
