Novelist Ann Lingard will be running another creative writing day for fiction and non-fiction writers next month.
It will take place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, June 8, at the RSPB Campfield Reserve near Bowness-on-Solway. Beginners and practising writers are welcome.
Ann said: "The Solway Firth has some of Britain’s best saltmarshes, but few people are aware how fascinating and unusual they are, so some of the day will be spent wandering on the saltmarsh at Campfield, to experience the space and sounds, and to have a close look at the plants and animals that live there.
"There will also be indoor sessions in the Reserve’s Wetlands Centre, where tea, coffee and cake will be provided. Participants should bring their own lunch, as well as wellies and warm clothes."
Booking is essential, through Cumbria Wildlife Trust, either by phone 01539 816300 or mail@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk.
