A Cumbrian holiday cottage firm has been shortlisted for a national award.
Heart of the Lakes, which has its head office in Ambleside, is a finalist in the UK Cottage Holiday Company category in the British Travel Awards.
Now in their 11th year, the winners are chosen by public vote.
Matt Hartnett, marketing manager, said: "We are delighted to be nominated for the British Travel Awards as it represents the opinions of the public.
"We are always looking at how we can improve our offer for our customers and pride ourselves on our friendly down-to-earth approach which has seen repeat bookings from guests and long relationships with cottage owners."
Voting opens on June 3. Visit https://britishtravelawards.com
