A man charged with being in possession of a sharply pointed article in a public place has had his case adjourned.
Atanas Ganchev, 46, of Lightfoot Drive, Carlisle, appeared at the city's magistrates’ court yesterday.
He faces one charge which alleges he had hollow metal spike tool in his possession in Dalston Road on April 14.
Ganchev is a Bulgarian national and requires a translator in court. For this reason his case will now be heard on Tuesday, May 21.
