Motorists are urged to drive with care
Motorists are being warned to drive with care on the M6 after reports of a vehicle driving the wrong way.
Traffic has been reduced to 20mph in a bid to prevent a collision, following the report at 7.55am.
The reduced speed limit is in place on both north and south carriageways of the motorway, between junction 40 for Penrith and junction 37 for Kendal.
