Cumbrian adoption event to take place tonight
An information event will be held in Cumbria tonight for those considering adoption.
The event, hosted by Cumbria County Council, will take place at the George Hotel on Devonshire Street, in Penrith.
Starting at 6pm, the free event hopes to answer questions any prospective parents of adopted children may have.
With an opportunity to meet the council's adoption team in an informal setting, the event will provide information on the adoption process and support available from the County Council throughout proceedings.
The event will begin with a chance to grab tea or coffee before a presentation starting at 6.15pm.
