A WHITEHAVEN man who assaulted a woman and a police officer has been tagged.
Brendan James Maudling, 31, of Coach Road, admitted assaulting Gemma Bruce by beating her, destroying her internal kitchen door worth £40, as well as resisting a police officer and beating another officer.
All the offences took place on February 15 in Whitehaven.
Maudling was handed an eight-week curfew when he appeared at the magistrates' court in Workington on Tuesday.
He was also ordered to pay £85 to fund victim services and £150 costs.
