Police are investigating after a 22-year-old man was assaulted in Whitehaven.
The victim was attacked by three males in Duke Street in the early hours of Sunday and suffered a cut to his ear which required hospital treatment.
Anyone with information should call PC 2560 Lisa McMullan on 101.
