A MOTOCROSS rider was rescued by mountain rescuers following an incident near Alston.
A dozen members from Penrith Mountain Rescue Team helped evacuate the injured biker following a call from the North West Ambulance Service on Sunday.
He was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
